UNDERRATED MUSIC GROUPS

When i think of underrated groups, Rush has to be at the top of the list. This group has so much talent, along with one of the best drummers ever, Neil Peart. However the only songs you hear on the radio are Tom Sawyer and sometimes Spirit of the Radio.

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

I would say the jam band dispatch. Their stuff is amazing and the only song you hear from them is elias and that happens very rarely. They deserve much more popularity

Personally, I can't stand any of the bands that have been mentioned so far. Also, I don't see how you can say that Rush, a band that has sold millions of records, is underrated. Maybe their new stuff (if there is any, I wouldn't know) isn't being played on the radio any more, but maybe that's because they're no longer relevant.

I kind of like that some of my favorite bands never hit it big by selling out or I could claim them as my own without seeing millions of mall rats wearing their t-shirts. I mean I used to like early Goo Goo Dolls, circa Jed and Hold Me Up and Soul Asylum pre-Runaway Train..

JEFF BUCKLEY!!!!you know, i was considering putting him when i wrote my list. but i'm not really sure that he's underrated. i mean, grace was critically acclaimed when it came out, the press was saying that he was going to be the biggest thing ever. he might have been, too. since his death, his popularity's only grown. i don't think that he's underrated, the only problem is that a lot of people will never know who he was

Sunny Day Real Estatehow in the hell did i forget sunny day real estate? what an amazing band, i've never understood why they didn't make it really big. the only thing (other than the fact that the american public is mainly composed of complete morons with bad taste) that i can think of is their timing, since emo didn't get big yet. diary is one of the best albums ever.
