The world title match should always be the main event

No way out saw the Main Event being Rock vs Hogan. However it should have been HHH vs Steiner. I know this is wrestling and its "Sports Entertainment" but in boxing, the worlds heavyweight title is always the main event.

No it shouldn't. Rock vs. Hogan 2 was obviously the main event and the WWE was correct in doing that. I don't want a bad match to end the night.

In my mind, and it seems like the WWE pushes it this way, the SD! gold is more prestigous.

I was so pissed off during Wrestlmania 11 when the Shawn Michaels-Diesel match had to take a back seat to the stupid Bam Bam Bigelow-Lawrence Taylor match. I know that there was a lot of hype for the LT appearance, but still. HBK-Deez should have headlined. Especially considering that it was the best match on an otherwise horrible event.

The reality of it is that whatever has the most fan interest should be the main event. End of story. The people watched No Way Out to see Hogan/Rock II. That's what they were waiting for. That's what we ALL were waiting for. If you were there to see HHH/Steiner you were in the very small minority EXPECIALLY if you saw their last match. Can you imagine the WWE main event getting the kind of boos that Steiner/HHH generated? In a perfect world the Title would always be the main event but as long as HHH has the belt no title match will generate that much interest to BE the main event.

The match with the most poetintial should be the main event. Especilly since HHH has the world title. No one gives a damn about HHH or stiner. If that would have been the main event, the fans would be pissed. But what do i know.......

I don't agree. Last year at Wrestlemania Rock/Hogan stole the show and the HHH/Jericho main event was a real let down in comparisson.
