Tag team wrestling is much different from back in the day. These days, they will put anybody together and usually it only lasts a couple of months.

Some of my favs were the Road Warriors, The Original Midnight Express, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, and Ravishing Rick Rude and manny Fernandez. Favorite Jobber tag team was the Conquistadors

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

When Edge and Christian became the new Conquistadores, that totally reeked of awesomeness!

Is it Conquistadore Number One or Conquistadore Number Two? I can't tell them apart! LOL...that was one of the best things about that team! I remember going to the Arena and seeing them get their comeuppance from the Killer Bees!!!

So besides the Killer Bees, my other favorites, and they are still among the best:

The Hart Foundation (the Hitman and the Anvil)
The British Bulldogs (I worshipped the Dynamite Kid)
Demolition (a friend and I still do the "pull the mask off and stick out our tongues" move)
Mr Fuji and Mr Saito
The Bushwackers

Now I'm starving

What are they gonna do now?

my favorite tagteam of all time had to be demolition.

the hart foundation... i remember as a little kid, i was so afraid when jim the anvil neidhardt came into the ring because i knew he was just gunna F that guy up.

the killer bee's: i miss them when they wore the masks... then they had to take them off and ruin their whole f'n gimmick.

doom: before their masks came off again. they just looked hella mean with those things... ron simmons, butch reed. that was a good tagteam.

the steinerbrothers: back when they were "michigan college wrestlers" steinerbrothers. i believe scott stiener was the first person i remember to do a hurricanrana... but it was the frankinsteiner. and c'mon! STEINER LINE!!!!!!

iron shiek & nikolia volkoff : one of the, if not the best heal tag team in the 80's... i dont think i need to say anything about them....tiran, iran... #1... america... *HAATOOO*

oh man.. strike force!... im tryin to remember their names Tom Zenk and someone else... that was a good baby face team...

then you had the pan-am connection.

what tag team was rick martel part of before becoming "the model"? i cant remember... was it pan-am?

the Fabolous Freebirds. hands down one of the best teams in WCW/NWA

and finally... Brutus Beefcake... Greg Valentine. jesus christ.. i loved that team... Lets turn the old shinguard around and slap the figure four on ya ass!

While the Road warriors are a close second, Without a doubt, the Hart Foundation were the best of the 80's

Between Bret's cocky-but-cool technical wizardry, and Anvil's psychotic attitude and power moves, you had the complete package.

They were among the first teams that were so good, that even though they were "bad guys", the fans took to them and they eventually were turned "good".

The Foundation was a big reason i went to wrestling school, and I got to live out a child hood dream in 1997 when i got to Tag team with Anvil in a match in Toms River NJ

the killer bees

Holy shit, I haven't thought of those goofy weirdos in years! Jumpin' Jim Brunzel! I remember when they even had a crazy plan and a third killer bee (wearing the same mask as the other two of course) hid under the ring so that they could outwit their opponents with a 3 on 2 advantage. Oh, those wacky bees!

My favorite teams were The Bulldogs, Arn and Tully, The Midnight Express ( both Eaton-Condrey and Eaton-Lane), and The Road Warriors ( especially when they were heels)

Remember when they'd have Koko B Ware as the ''third Bee,'' and he'd put on the mask, do a switcheroo, and then would get a near-fall, only to have the ref notice just in time that he was black and the ''legal'' Bee was white? Oh, the hilarity! (oy...)

And I have to throw in another vote for the British Bulldogs. I remember being absolutely devestated when the team was dissolved due to Dynamite Kid's chronic back injury.

I found a great clip on Kazaa of a Hart Foundation/Rockers match. Granted, any time Shawn Michaels gets a beating I like it, and any time he's winning I groan. What made this match fun was Demolition standing by ringside, commenting on both teams. The match ended in a brawl between all three teams.

Only because I don't remember them having tatoos, but do you mean the Islanders, Haku and Tama?

That was before he became King Haku, replacing the great Harley Race as king.
