Any ideas how Angle will lose the belt?

Since Angle will be going for surgery and be out of WM19 how do you think the WWE will make him lose and write him out of the storylines?

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

I don't see reasonably (okay, I admit using the word 'reasonable' where a pro-wrestling story is concerned is insane) how they sell this, but would Angle find some way to "give" the title to either member of Team Angle, or back to the Big Show? I could see how they could justify Angle turning it over to Haas or Benjamin as his representative, or giving it to the former champion, Big Show. Neither move makes real sense in terms of this being THE top match of the Wrestlemania card, unless Big Show really rose to the moment and worked a fantastic match.

Show vs Lesnar could work, but it seems a given that Lesnar would win at this point.

Or would they do a battle royale (like Raw) to determine competitors, and somehow bring the Rock back to Smackdown.

i think the best way to do it is to tell everyone the truth, that Angle injured himself at a houseshow in S. Africa. Then have a tournament to decide the champion.

This will throw everyone completely off guard, and I like it when truth and fiction mix.

That would definitely help the fed out as a whole. They could have a sweet 16 the last two SmackDowns before the PPV, then have it boil down to a Final Four at Mania, let's say...Brock/Rhyno & Benoit/Show early at the PPV, then a Benoit/Brock Main Event.

Also, that's 2 more matches they won't have to book early on in the PPV...and we avoid having to see some made up, 2 week "grudge" match that doesn't deserve being at WrestleMania.

This kind of idea makes sense...therefore, it'll never happen.

This is how I see.

This week's edition of WWE Smackdown, Angle loses the title to Brock Lesnar via Anklelock and not F-5 because they really do not want to injure Kurt further. After Brock wins the belt he does not stop beating on Kurt with a chair, back to the anklelock, etc and the refs are unable to pull him off of Kurt. He "hurts" Angle so bad the crowd starts booing Lesnar similar to the Rock transformation at last year's WM. Then, Chris Benoit of all people comes down to pry him off of Angle with a german suplex and bam....

Man you gotta feel terrible for our Olympic Hero, Kurt Angle. This would have been his first Wrestlemania that he would headline. He's gonna miss two WMs just like Edge.

Wow, this is gonna hurt the WWE immensely.
