Mr Perfect was the latest wrestler to die at an early age. He was only 44. In the last few years, alot of noteable wrestlers have died at an early age. Owen Hart, Rick Rude, Big Dick Dudley... the list goes on. Kind of scary when you think about how many wrestlers have passed on at such an early age

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

To quote DDP, "You can't fake gravity." Although gravity took Owen in a different way, and not to mention a lot of these wrestling deaths have to do with substances, but taking "bumps" for a living cannot be good for the human body.

I think we're starting to see more & more with the spinal injuries that are running through WWE like a virus. Benoit, Rhyno, Edge, Angle...and only Lita actually fell on her neck. The rest seem to be compilation injuries, they just keep rattling their spines on a weekly basis, taking higher & higher risks, bigger & bigger bumps, and their bodies will pay the price. Many of these people, unfortunately, will not get a chance to grow old.

...silent, but violent.

The early deaths of wrestlers should be catorgorized. Guys like Curt Hennig, Bobby Duncam Jr., Gary Albright, Rocco Rock, Big Dick Dudley, Big John Studd, Rick Rude, Brian Pillman, Eddie Gilbert, Art Barr, and Davey Boy Smith all died because of a kind of drug overdose. It's very likely that the abuse came from injuries and life on the road which led to pill and steroid addictions. But guys like Owen Hart, Brusier Brody, Junkyard Dog, and Adrian Adonis died in tragic accidents. The Von Erich brothers should have their own category. They are really a sad story.

Brian Pillman... died because of a kind of drug overdose.

Actually, Pillman died from arteriosclerosis, a congential heart disease that also killed his father. Of course, the years of abusing painkillers only aggravated the disease.
