The NYRMB had a posting last week that said Ferral is bouncing around his hometown of Pittsburgh, but so far no interest in him from the radio world. He may have burned a few bridges..

Pissed off Westwood One by taking another job mid-contract...pissed of Infinity so much he was fired without warning....I'd say his next gig will likely be on XM or one of the other satellite radio stations.

At least there, hopefully they'll let him do his show. Unlike Infinity, who wouldn't let him do two of the things that made his show: playing music in the background (which filled the gaps...he was easily distracted) & they wouldn't let him talk about gambling (his Lockdown segment made me a fortune in college & pro football).

Oh yeah, and let it be on at night, he's the kind of guy who isn't fit for a morning show.

If you're talking about Radio Alice, he was kicked off that show. (probably offended the treehuggers out there) I STILL say Stern had a hand in his firing. Ferrall made big bird nervous when he TRIPLED wnew's ratings.

The only reason Ferrall pissed off WNEW management was because his show wasn't generating enough ratings, not because of his antics. He never did anything so controversial that he needed to be fired.

It was just that they didn't have time for him to become anything on WNEW.
