In the days before the attitude era, Pyrotechnics and bad storylines, Madison Square Garden was truly the worlds most famous arena.. MSG was the home of the 1st Wrestlemania, The Birth of Hulkamania, the famous Snuka jump off the top of the cage vs Muraco and other memorable events.

There were house shows every month and they all were sellouts. Also the MSG network would broadcast the house shows. Anyone in the metro NYC area would remember those days

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

Geez, how I miss those days. I used to love watching any event or match from the Garden. I'll never forget the first event I saw live. Hogan-Harley Race in 1987. That was the place where all of the important matches took place back in the day. With the Philadelphia Spectrum a close second. I recently purchased a bunch of tapes from E-Bay where I finally got to see some of the classic MSG moments. Snuka-Backlund in a cage, Hogan-Tony Atlas, Sgt. Slaughter-Pat Patterson, and many others.
