I just watched Oliver Beene-the show after the simpsons. Ir was terrible. i dont know why fox ok'd it. maybe i just cant relae to the 60s (the time period of the show), but the comercials looked so funny. the show is basically malcolm in the middle, but 40 years older.

Oddly enough though, I will probably still watch it next week

Damnit! Too late! I heard that FOX has ok'ed the go ahead for the first spin-off, Moe Beene. I can hear the laughter ensuing now!

I thought it was o......k..... but nothing really special. I LOVE The retro feel to it but it comes accross like the Wonder Years EXTREME! I also pick on historical accuracy and didn't the Queens College shirt look a bit to 90's with it's design as compared to the 60's? I HATE that. Get it right. I did however like the games in the basement.

We should really be happy here because FOX premiered a SITCOM and not another reality show.
