Man, i am starting to like the rock. He put over a guy like Hurricane, who will never be a world champ, and lets him have the shining moment of his career, a win over the rock. Man, i wish he stays around for another year, so he can put someone of world champ material like edge or chris benoit over. Its too bad the fake world champion is a greedy basturd.

Hey, at least rock put him over. I know the whole point of hurricane winning was to increse the heat for the Austin/Rock match, but he could have easily just had a crush match and brutilzed Helms after the match, but insted austin provided a minor distraction, only to have hurricane roll up Rocky and get the three count.

I have gained alot of respect for The Rock as of late. I thought he would come back to the WWF forgetting who he was and who made him who he is. But he did just the opposite. I have read that backstage he has not changed one bit. That is something you don't see every day with fame. Thanks Rocky

Wow, that was something. For once, you gotta tip your hat to the Rock.

Heel Rock + Putting Over Younger Workers = Much more gooder

I guess if you could cut a few solid promos with the Rock you gain HIS respect?

but did you notice the difference between what he did and what HHH did against maven?

that match with maven was awful, you never once thought he had a chance and he just got killed and embarrassed.

the rock, after having great little confrontations with the hurricane backstage finally has a match, still looks good, but puts over the hurricane as well.

this is why the rock is great and HHH is the fucking worst. besides the fact that HHH can't carry a match anymore, the rock knows to use his popularity to make others better, not just keep himself at the top. great job rock, you truly are showing how it's done.

The difference is Rock had a feud going going with Hurricane now for 3 weeks. Maven and HHH had a feud going for about 20 minutes. He picked Maven because he was the first guy AKA schwoogie he saw after getting beaten up by Booker T.

Yes Rock put over Hurricane, only because Austin helped. Booker T already got his revenge on HHH by messing up his hair with a door slam.

There was a storyline between Hurricane and Rock. You are not going to have your champion lose to a rookie. Basically this was a night for the good guys. Austin got over on Rock. Booker T got over on HHH and HBK got over on Jericho with the superkick.

Let me tell all you people who are surprised that the Rock put the Hurricaine over something: The Rock jobs more than ANY other main eventer and I'm talking about before he went hollywood. Rock has jobbed to Mark Henry, Big Show, Benoit, Jericho, Angle, Lesnar, Kane, and now Hurricaine. Not to mention HHH and Austin whenever they damn well felt like it. Rocky's always done what's best for the company. He's not afraid of having to job like Austin and HHH and he's not selfish as long as it helps the company. The man's a class act and always has been.

What do you want from us? We're EVIL! EVIL!!!!!!

There's no way a true wrestling fan doesn't have respect for The Rock after what he did last night. It was a great thing and it helped further the angle between him and Austin.

I was agreeing with you until I saw this...

HHH Fears Jarret, THE REAL WORLDS CHAMP!!!!

But I do respect the Rock for everything he does for the company. He's a great entertainer and a pretty decent wrestler. Gotta love watchin him.

Putting Hurricane over was beneficial to both he and Rocky. Its a good start for a guy like Shane Helms and it shows that Rock is willing to do it.

I mean, I'd rather Rock push someone with promise like Hurricane then say... HHH pushing a talentless crud like Steiner, any day.
