Suggestions anyone? I'm going to Fla. the first week in May for 2 weeks and would like to lose about 8 to 10 lbs. before I go,What has worked for you guys. Thanks.

Forget those diet shakes, I'll give you the stomach flu/virus I had last week.........I probably lost 10 lbs. over that 3 day period. This way you can save 27 days on a diet. Let me know.........I'll send you a cookie that I coughed on.

I'm down 13 in a month on the Atkins. It's a bitch of a diet though. You'd be surprised what you can't eat for the first two weeks.

atkins is what i'm on and i've lost 19 1/2 pounds in a month and a half.

it's the best one cause you can eat as much as you want, you just have to eat the right stuff.

steak, eggs, bacon, sausage, tuna fish with mayo, chicken, chef salads, all cold cuts, cheese, all fish.

you can get fast food burgers and just take the bread off. just stay away from anything with carbs. you can drink diet soda but not regular soda, and if you need alcohol at least stick to light beer, it's got a lot less carbs.

but it's the best diet out there, you will definitely lost 10 pounds if you stay on it.

effedra. I don't sell it. I'm not a doctor. It's illegal to buy over the counter for most people, but it works. I suggest taking it with half an aspirin and coffee. Probably a bad thing to do.

that's the perfect amount of time to lose 10 lbs.

A healthy diet is one in which you lose 2-3 pounds a month. I lost 30 pounds in a summer so I know what worked for me. It starts with calories....every 3500 calories is a pound so if you can cut 500 calories a day from your diet you will lose one pound a week(7 days x 500 calories)....Then if you add excercise 3-4 times a week you will lose the other pound or two.

Ways to cut calories from your diet(you will want to stick to a diet of right around 1500 calories if you are an averaged size male)

1) don't eat a big breakfast (Ex: banana and/or a nutri grain bar) and space your meals out...eat more times a day but in smaller portions (this is for someone who gets up at 7 and works a 9-5, shift the hours if need be......banana/apple(120 calories) @8:00 am...snack-nutri grain(120 calories bar at 10 am.....lunch @ noon, tuna/turkey on rye/wheat(ca. 400 calories)....try to hold off till dinner if not small snack at 3 pm....dinner at 6 pm....try not to eat after 9 pm

2) chicken and tuna are a great way to have a full meal without the fat or calories

3)this is the easiest one-drink water rather than other beverages that contain sugars and about 100 calories a pop

Fiber is an important part of people's diets that tends to get overlooked...won't help you lose wieght but is good for preventing many diseases

eat, puke ,rinse, brush, scrub ,gargle and repeat after each meal.
if you are consistant you will lose way more than 10 pounds in a month..
oh and use the gold listerine. the shit that burns.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon and telling you Atkins is the way to go. Just don't eat carbs, very simple. So far I'm down 36lbs. in 2 months, you'll easily lose the weight.

I've lost 30 lbs to date. It feels 1000 times better on many levels.

The key for me was eliminating breads and pastas, and reducing the amounts of sugar. Plus plenty of water.

I also took a page from something Silera once said about not eating after 7:30, I checked with a friend who's big on fitness and she said that was the best approach you can make. Just drink lots of water after 7:30. It's been very good for me.
