Sigpic help please

Could somebody tell me how to make a sigpic? What program do you use? How do you make it the right size? How do you make it animated? Any help would be appreciated.

sig pic specs are 100 pixles high by 300 pixels wide. You can use most any photo editing program. I love Photoshop or some Jasc program. I use Imageready to make Animated gifs.

After you have one, host it somewhere on the web and then put the image display code in your profile.

It's as simple as that.

Don't be afraid! Just start with a simple non-animated one with a pic in the background and your board name in it.

Very easy. You can ask a board member to help probably.

You can probalby get a free editing program FREE somewhere on the net, and just make a really simple sig to start.

I've been using still jpeg sigs for like a year and a half here. I JUST tried out Imageready like last month and made my 'Death Meal Moe Around the World" series.

Sigs add personality to your posts and make it easier for us to remember you.

You can make a simple one with your paint accessory. Just make it 300x100 and save it as a jpeg. More complicated stuff takes photoshop and/or other software.

I put mine together in Flash. The animated ones at least. Sometimes I use 3D to create my images or just hand draw everything and then process it through Photoshop and Streamline. Flash gets me the best results as far as compression go because I can export it as a gif image with only a few colors and through the magic of illusion they turn out ok usually.

i use unlead gif animator 5, i taught myself for the most part. i still don't know how to work it completly but i think i do a somewhat decent job. and it must be kinda easy to use if i can get shit to work.
