Vince McMahon wanted to advertise a big main event to draw in viewers. The Hurricane already knew days in advance that he would be facing the Rock.

Just the hypocrisy is ridiculous. The guy had nothing to do with this issue. An internet writer fabricates a story blaming HHH and the internet hates him for it. Yet, when it is shown that he had no involvement, no one cares.
