I just heard that Tug McGraw is gravely ill with two brain tumors. Sad.

Mr. Corleone is Johnny's Godfather. To the Italian people, that is a very religious, sacred, close relationship.

I have been thinking about this all day as all i remember is being a little kid and jumping up and down like Tugger did when the Phillies won their only World Series. I hope and pray that he pulls through.

As a life long Met fan, Tug is my second favorite Met ( behind Seaver ), and I got all his baseall cards. Watching Seaver pitch a game, having Tug close it out, and hearing Bob Murphy call it is memories that will last with me forever. I am saddened to hear of his illness, and hope everything works out for him and his family. Ya gotta believe !!!!

I'll never forget the time Tug was asked whether he liked Astro Turf or grass, and he replied " I don't know, I never smoked Astro Turf".

"So, you're Tug McGraw's son, and you drive a bus".......what a cool commercial that was.
