My NY Trip

[DC Reed]

As some of you know, i went to NY for the weekend as part of a trip for my drama dept. It was all cool, (ive been there before, like 10 times) so it was funny seeing the kids who had never been to NY. All they did was look up, like tourists. Chinatown is a great place to buy all things illegal and strange, got myself a nice touristy Handgun lighter.

But it wasnt the city that made it kick ass, it was the broadway shows we saw. (thank god they got thier asses back on stage.)

I saw Blue Man (For the second time, just as good as first)
Chicago (Spank Bank stuff i gotta say.)
and
Urinetown (To Fucking Funny.)

I gotta say, ive heard/seen some funny stuff, but Urinetown is the funniest thing youll ever pay to see. It mocks theater and script writing and its overall plot (paying to pee) is enough to grab your curiousity.

Fun trip overall, sad i had to leave and be DC Reed again, but Just one week and im up in NY again.

Last time I was in NY, last summer, I went to see two
broadway shows in one day (The Producers, great, and
Cabaret, fucking awesome). But I was already gay
before that.

I grew up in a 33 story apt building and I STILL look up when I'm in Manhattan.
