-I have received confirmation from my exclusive source in World Wrestling Entertainment that the negotiations between Bill Goldberg and the WWE are beginning to come to a head. It is looking quite probable that Goldberg will ink a contract sometime this week and he is likely to work at least ten dates a months.

-This is not confirmed, but a rumor circulating in the WWE locker room is that Goldberg's name has been thrown into the SmackDown! main event for WrestleMania XIX. What this means is that Kurt Angle's WWE Championship defense against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania could turn into a Triple Threat Match. The reason for this is Kurt Angle's neck injury. With Angle risking death and paralysis in working the match against Lesnar, putting Goldberg in the match would be a great way to lessen the amount of strain put on Angle physically.

-With Angle preparing for surgery about a month after WrestleMania, he will obviously be dropping the title at the WWE's start attraction, and dropping it to Goldberg would be a sure fire way of making sure that the Goldberg era in World Wrestling Entertainment starts off with a bang.

What does everyone think about this. Have Goldberg win the title, Brock Lesnar turn heel and have a Brock vs Goldberg feud.

I dont know too much about wrestling... but i have read that Goldberg is known for working stiff and hurting people..... would the WWE really let him in there w/ Angel and increase his risk of serious injury?

The light at the end of a tunnel...... is a train

It's a rumor, but you can still speculate on it. As you know the WWE is desperate to bring him in. With Edge and Kurt out for over a year, you know he would go to smackdown.

i was just joking with you. i would like to see Goldberg come in for a while. i actually don't like him, but it would be something different and WWE needs something different.

I don't know how I feel about this. Early on in goldeberg's career (before he jumped the shark) I was a mark for him. He was exciting, and with everymatch he added a new move to his arsenal (it was pretty cool to see a 280 pound man do standing backflips). But he seems pretty mercenary to me now, and his mike skills are sub-Benoit. If they don't let him talk and just have him be the uber-angry destroyer guy he was when he first showed up, it might be ok.

Angle's already risking his life to wrestle in the main event. Why would Vince put him in the same ring with the man who ended Bret Hart's career?
