Well it has been a week since we last posted the article about the Radio Execs saying that O & A should not have been fired (Canceled really) and we were really hoping that the sentiment expressed would have facilitated some sort of activity in regards to the show, but there is still nothing new to report.sorry.
Now to other things. First off, mark my words "By this summer Rich Vos will be the hottest stand up comic in the country". That is my prediction. You see, last time we mentioned Vos he was in the comic house AKA"Last Comic Standing" (new reality show featuring 10 comics living in a house produced by Jay Mohr for NBC). Well, the world's largest midget is back and though he can't talk about the outcome of the show there is a strong feeling he kicked ass. There is even a rumor he made one of the female comic's cry. The show starts airing on NBC May 19th so mark your calendars. Now couple this with regular appearances on Colin Quinn's Comedy Central show "Tough Crowd" (weeknights at 11:30pm) and his own half hour Comedy Central Presents Special airing sometime in May and by June this slobbering hack could be having the last laugh.
As you may already know, Colin Quinn's show "Tough Crowd" is back on Comedy Central and is doing well. Not only Vos has been on it lately but also Patrice O'Neal and our Lil' Jimmy Norton as well. The show seems to get better and better every night so check it out.
If you missed "Scrubs" last Thursday on NBC, you missed Jay Mohr guest starring. Jay managed to work in an "Okay Terrific" after he was tackled and then finished his appearance by ripping off Vos using his line "Can I buy you a house?" Nonetheless very funny job by Jay even if he did use Vos' stale joke. Look for a Jay Mohr appearance in a couple of weeks in "Fastlane" on Fox and see if he gets anymore show references in.
