The best overnight show ever (with the exception of late night R&F) is now off the air in NYC. Instead of Coast To Coast with George Noory, WABC thought giving Steve Malzberg his own show from 1AM-5AM would be a better idea, and in the process also ruining the show formerly known as "The Buzz". It just keeps getting worse and worse. The only bright light left is Eddie Trunk, and he only gets 3 hours a week. Fuckin' BOGUS. NY radio is in the shitter.

Now what am I gonna lie in bed listening to, lonely and scared, at 2 in the morning?

What ever happenend to that Bell guy Chickenhawk? Is this other dude the new host?

Well I miss that other show. It was always interesting early in the morning.

And since I'm driving from PA back east towards NYC, AM radio is the only thing that reaches out there with a strong signal.

CRAP! i loved that feeling i got when i woke up at 2 am and got the crap scared out of me by the weird stuff they talked about. i'll miss this show... hopefully it will be on some other NY station, it's syndicated everywhere

DMM---yeah, George Noury has replaced Art Bell. I'll bet you can still get the show out of WTAM in Cleveland, I think it's around 1100 on the am dial. Come to think of it, there's a couple of stations that air Coast To Coast between 1100 and 1200 am.

Oh yeah, remember frequent Art Bell guest, Danyon Brinkley? He's outed beautifully in the book, Stolen Valor by Burkett. In his books and on the air, Brinkley said he was some kinda super-sniper with the Marines in Vietnam; turns out he drove a truck or was a clerk or something and never even went to Viet Nam.
