Rumor has it - and I KNOW this sounds nuts - that the reason that Infinity did the sudden format switch was that the current one as too hypercritical of the Bush administration.
"I'd like him to actually DO something."
- Ron, on Bush
Leykis, R&F, and a lot of others on infinity have a dissimilar political viewpoint when compared with, say, a Limbaugh or Hennedy.
Regardless, this is simply a rumor. An interesting one given the circumstance, but a rumor nonetheless.
And regardless of the reason, we must get our boys back in NY.

It's Hannity, not Hennedy. I might believe something like that if it were not for the following two reasons:
1. There is actually an all Liberal Anti-Rush, Reilly, & Hannity radio station about to launch, with hosts like Al Franken and Michael Moore.
2. No one was ever really listening to Ron & Fez, least of all anyone that important to make such a decision. If so, they would still be on in New York and not some D.C. station that doesn't even promote them on the station website.
Oh by the way, you're welcome.

Ratings drive radio. Nothing else. My problem with Infinity is that they didn't promote the boys enough to give them a fair shot, and having them on twice a day, while great for me, made it impossible to tell whether their ratings were good or not. They were cutting the audience in half on a daily basis.
