I've been looking for a copy of 3/19's show, but by all accounts, it seems like there is one to be had. How much did Ron and Fez broadcast, if at all, on Wednesday? Any help is appreciated!

Yes the boys were on Wednesday night. They were keeping up with news reports about when we first starting bombing Iraq. They did break in with the Presidents speech.
I was working so I could not hear the whole show, but they basically took calls from listeners about their feelings about the war. I think they started on the discussion about Billy and his dink, and his staple problem
For those of you who have not heard the show Billy has had some complications with his staples. He has to make the decision to let it ride or go under the knife again. If he does decide to go under the knife he has about a 1 in 125 chance of dying on the table.
He also had something growing on his dink that was about the size of a lima bean. He had it burned off. On Friday's show he let some of the guys examine it. Ron would not let him in the studio with his junk exposed. It was really gross, and it smelled.
Well I hope that answers your question. The boys will be in DC on Monday according to Rory, I called him on Friday night.
Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.
I think they should tone down how much they have been talkin about the war, its a downer
i guess thats not the popular opinion since people are calling in to talk about it

As Ron has stated several times, it isn't a political show, but it is topical. I would expect that they will continue to talk about the war as it continues to be at the forefront of everyone's mind.

yeah, but when it takes up most of the show, its just like... we see and hear enough about the war on tv, and its great to hear they're opinions but like i said, when it goes on for most of the show, its just like enough allready

yes, actually that was the first show i listened to since their first week off in NY. I happened to be driving back from FL and i decided to listen to the boys rather than war coverage.

No, they're only in DC a good three days a week. When they're here on WJFK, they bring only Billy, Rory and Hawk...sounds like they've got 2, 3 WJFK interns to help out...

What is great about thier war talk is that it isn't people just yelling back and forth at each other. Both Ron and Fez seem undecided about what is the right thing to be doing here, to me, it almost seems like they are parents explaining what is going on, rather than a some the uber political hosts who just try to convince anyone what is going on. It is sort of refreshing to hear it discussed this way.

That's the best part about Ron and Fez. They allow for rational explanation and don't invalidate someone's opinion even if they disagree.
There have been many issues for which they have been able to moderate like this in the past, among them politics, current events and *gasp* religion. I'm feeling the severe lack of Ron & Fez now. . .
And, as far as the aforementioned "constant coverage everywhere else" - if it bothers you that much, don't listen/watch/read about it for the rest of the day. Assure yourself that you're going to get the updates with the boyz and you'll be able to moderate your information intake. It's psychologically unhealthy to tune to the news 24-7 anyway, so do yourself a favor and stop. Watch Food Network or something; reality is assured never to intrude.

There was less than two hours of show that night, since they go on an hour later because of the 7 PM football show, and then they cut out to the news feed pretty quickly once the attacks began...
