Are all of your friends and family of the same political mind-set as you, or is there
someone who can hash out political shit with in "real life?" Does it ever get out of
hand, or are you able to keep that kind of crap seperated from friendships or family
bonds?

I am such a moderate, I've been accused of my Republican friends of being a liberal
and my Democrat friends of being conservative. This comes from having one parent
who believes one way, and another who believes another, however in recent years,
my dad has been sliding further and further right that he and I have gotten into it a
few times. The worst was when I actually called him an asshole - not proud of that
one.

Needless to say, we haven't agreed on much regarding this war.

I actually sent my friends and family off to be tortured in Iraq...cause I'm such a lover of Saddam and his policies.

KOP..who are you? Which knucklehead is using this alias?

I'm rather liberal, but my parents are pretty conservative, so I have plenty of conservative aunts, uncles and cousins as well...and living in a "government" family around the world (Especially here in DC), you meet kids who are exposed to current events and politics at an early age, so people always have opinions...but we're friends and family, so it usually stays civil.

I'm not going home or even speaking to my old man until this war stuff is over. If I have to hear about "you and your hippie friends" again I'm going to vomit.

My whole family isnt really into politics too much other then my dad, whos in the Union. All of my close friends are republicans. we get out of hand sometimes in school when this one lil anti-america liberal communist tries to bash this great country. but i never really get into fights with my family about anything political.
