I must say that Alia turned into a hottie, going from that creepy little thing.

Another big fan of the Dune and Children of Dune miniseries. These were both very nicely done and shown by Sci-Fi.

I couldn't agree more that Alia (Aaliyah??) was really beautiful! I enjoyed all the different accents of the characters. Was that deliberate or did it just work out that way? It added a nice touch to tickle my ears.

Did anyone else like Riverworld? That was also very nicely done. I am interested enough to go get the books and read the stories.

Now I'm starving

I'm about to turn it up a notch!

I didn't see the Children mini-series, but I re-watched Dune to prepare myself for the release of Children on DVD. Kick ass!

Drafted by director David Lynch, Sean Young arrived on the set of Dune with her Super 8 camera in tow—and this glimpse into the merry life behind the scenes of a debacle, and Young's own scatterbrainedness, is mesmerizing.

Fresh off of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, Young joined the cast of Lynch's big-budget adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune, one of the most ambitious science fiction tales in all of pop culture. Produced by Dino De Laurentiis, Dune cost about $45 million (which is about $100 million when adjusted for inflation) to make and earned only about half of it back.

But you'd never know Dune would become such a notorious film by watching the smiles on everyone involved.

Very cool video!
