In an e-mail I recieved today Ron concluded, (in pertinent part)

We miss all of you guys .....Let all of our buddies know that they are still thought of fondly

Ron and Fez know that we listen (thanks to the dillegent efforts of Steel) and love them and hope they come back soon.


Ron has done many things over the years, that have been absolutely amazing in terms of help he's provided to people. Ron and Fez have brought joy and laughter into many people's life. This last message is another indication of Ron's thoughfulness and character. (And althouh Ron wrote the e-mail, Fez feels the same.)

Pure and simple: Ron Bennington and Fez Whatley are two of the nicest and most stand-up guys I've ever met. You almost forget that they are the hosts of the best radio show ever when you talk to them because they are so personable. Tonight I was really missing them as, sick of the war coverage, I was forced to watch Body Slam on the Action Channel. For those of you not familiar with this horrid atrocity of a movie it stars Rowdy Roddy Piper and "Face" from the A-Team as they try to blend rock and roll with wrestling and other wacky hijinks. Anyway, the point is Ron & Fez rule.

not that I knew them personally but they were two people that made you feel like a "buddy"...
Not like a Howard Stern or Imos, someone who has the "better than you" personality...

I've been married 17 years and raising a family(both of which I Love dearly), working a stressful job where technology is going too fast for me and Ron and Fez really gave me a chance to relax and have Fun... As you can see by my posts I like to kid around alot and act childish but it's just to have a good time...

Yeah, I miss them a hell of alot...

When I met Ron I wish i would of suggested to him to write a book. Him and Fez have so much to be proud of, they have made it a "long" way in Radio and they deserve all the success they receive...

not only are they hilarious, but just as funny and kind in person. i had the chance to meet them at bar 9 and then even go to the studio. they really love their fans and we will be loyal because of how they treat us....we miss you guys too! nyc and texas love you!

It's simple Hosp, just keep on writing and calling Infinity. They ARE paying attention!
As long as we keep the "buzz" going it's not over. WNEW is history but who knows about future programming on other Infinity stations?
