I've been a big George supporter for the last ten years or so, since he's been doing things the right way more often than not (especially after I killed him for running Buck out of town & I wound up being wrong).

But there's no way to defend him here. Although I still wish a slow painful death on Peter Dolan, he is seemingly no longer the onyl one at fault here. George needs to step in & get the fucking deal done...your fans are getting screwed out of watching 75% of your games, how can you not see that this is bad for business?!

With the questionable things George has been doing this Spring (attacking Jeter, Torre), now you add this & it's obvious that George is off his medication again. What a dick.

Yes, we do have championships, but it's the fact that unless we want to pay a ton of money just in the hope that (a) we will have a clear view of the South sky that is necessary, & (b) we don't live in an apartment that won't allow us to put a dish on the roof, we don't have the option of watching our team.

Sure the Mets fans don't think it's a big deal, you can always read the next morning's paper to find out the disappointment that went on the night before. But if the Mets were decent & this shit was going on, there would be people throwing themselves off buildings in protest.

They just reached a deal again. No word on whether tonight's game will be televised, but this morning I discovered that some channels were switched around, and one channel in particular was labeled TBA and was broadcasting color bars. So maybe........
