Anyone else impressed by John Cena?

I don't know what it is, but I was very impressed with John Cena last night on Smackdown. This kid is gonna be a big star if Vinnie Mac uses him right. I was really impressed with his strength, picking up Rikishi is no small feet. His mike skills were better than ever and he seemed to get over with the crowd really well, also his new entrance music is a hell of alot better than what he had. I don't know i think he is gonna be a major player in the future (hopefully the near future).

I think that John Cena will be headlining WrestleMania in the future. But he has to get out of that ridiculous gimmick.

I think Cena is a no-doubt future star...I just pray they allow a few other guys in the mix as they make him into a star. Lesnar will be champ, Cena will be in the mix, I assume Benoit will be there too...hopefully this will not be the whole of the World Title picture, because it will put too much focus on Cena & Lesnar. This won't allow them to grow without being under a microscope the whole time. But for the love of God, let me see Cena wrestle someone other than Rikishi!

The gimmick that he has is really allowing to show off his great mic skills. If they were to make it less like an Eminem wannabe and actually make him less hokey and more believable by dropping that stupid catchphrase, and instead of him being thugged out, just make it like the 8-Mile Eminem, which, I'm sorry, Eminem looks better with darker hair. (have no idea what that has to do with the thread, but felt like saying anyway, just ignore it, please....pretty please...I mean it this time.....pay no attention to this.)

Thanks to horrible WWE storylines and a horrible creative team they are making John Cena a joke. no wonder ratings are low and there is very little wrestlemania hype

I'm not sold on his wrestling yet. Give me a few more matches and I'll drop the verdict on him. I like the gimmick and his mic skills. If he's going to be a main eventer then they need to be tweaked towards being less extreme. Otherwise for an upper mid card guy (like Hardy), I think having an "out-there" gimmick is fine.
