Ok is it mandatory for a kid to participate in the celebration of thier parent's anniversary? isn't that something THEY should do amongst themselves, with the exception of the big ones (25th and 50th)..

Yes, I think it is a private celebration except for milestones like you said. I have never bought an Anniversary card for anyone unless it was 25 or 50. I honestly don't know when my parent's anniversaries are.

I knew that if I had kids and an anniversary was coming up, I'd want them at grandma's so that my girl could put on some sexy shoes so that I could get my proverbial groove on.

i think it really depends on the people. for example, my parents like it if my sister and i are around for anniversaries. i think that might be because they generally can't spend ten minutes with each other without fighting.

children should ALWAYS acknowledge their parents anniversary.

We (my brothers and sisters and I) always took part in our parent's anniversaries. We were always a close family. I mean, after all, they did bring us into this world and we owed them for that!!! and we also love them!!!

What an awful child. Only good kids like myself know when their parent's anniversary/anniversaries are.

My parents went out to dinner and left us kids with McDonnalds... good enough for me.
