That, and they NEED bass fulltime now. When it shows on the album, they become an unstoppable force of a band.

On a side note, I'm more excited about hearing Evan Dando's long-awaited solo debut next week, "Baby I'm Bored"...

Just bought it today. I am really happy with it. I also had no idea it was coming out either. I go to get the new Boy Sets Fire and....WHAAAA.....there is Jack and Meg and a skull staring me in the face. A really strong record and I still think they should stay a two piece with the extra musician every now and again. I could not bear the thought of seeing them with more than just Jack and Meg.

The new BSF is truly remarkable as well.

On the last track we may have a little explanation of the whole thing but it doesn't really matter anyway. Meg says she loves Jack White like a little brother and then Jack says he loves Holly who does some guest vocals. I don't have the lyrics here in front of me but it is quite amusing as it sounds like they are doing it as a slap in the face of the media people who keep asking.

As I said, bottom line, I don't care if they were committing incest, they still put out some great music.

they keep going back and forth as to how they're related. first it was brother and sister, then it was ex-husband and wife. no one knows for sure. jack seems to be just very into keeping anything white stripes as mysterious as possible. i think, at first, it was sort of intruiging. now, i really couldn't care any less. but i like the music.
