Gots to go with the patties.
I like mine hot flavored.
I always start the water in the sink before I start getting them out of the tube and squooshing them into nice flat patties; then I don't get raw sausage on the handles for the water when I wash my hands.
I leave a little sausage grease in the pan to cook my eggs or pancakes in.
I once had a vegan housemate who was a real nazi about it, so I used to cook lots of sausage and bacon up just to drive her crazy.
