I know there aren't many Texas Rangers fans on this board (if any at all) and if my calculations are correct we only have one member from Texas, but I just started watching the opening night of baseball on ESPN and it just so happens Texas is playing. They just showed their line-up and I really believe they are absolutly stacked once again, but the question remains can they do anything with the talent they have? (I guess it's just something about the Rangers name cough NY cough). So I just wanna hear the imput of the baseball fans on this board, will the Rangers finally break out this year and dominate the way they should?

I completly agree, but I'm more interested in seeing what everybody else thinks about their line-up. Are they good enough to get out of last place and get into the playoff race?

They are better than a last place team that loses 90 games a year....but not quite good enough to contend for a playoff spot.

I really like their chances.

They have alot of hitting and Park should be solid again with Urbina as closer.

if they were in the AL Central i would give them a shot but they are playing some of the better teams with better pitching than they have....although i do think ismael valdes can be a good pitcher if he could ever go more that 5 and 2/3 innings....thier lineup is alright...i wouldn't say stacked they have some talent that is out of this world but then there is a big dropoff...who knows if we'll ever see the real juan gonzalez...he will make or break that team this year on the offensive end

Who knows. But it's the only MLB park near me now, so I'll be going to some games even if they're good or bad. And honestly, I don't like it when ANY Dallas area teams are good.
