i constantly hear people complaining about how bad it is and how the wwe does everything wrong and even that wrestlemania 19 sucked.

i thought wrestlemania was the money, obviously not the greatest thing of all time but i was looking forward to a lot of the matches and i thought it came through.

you guys are expecting a hbk/razor ramon ladder match or austin/bret hart "i quit" match everytime, it doesnt' work like that. those matches are classics because it was the combination of many things, you can only try to plan a classic but that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

and not every storyline is going to be the n.w.o. or dx or even the rock as the coporate champion or austin vs. vince. they're trying to to fix what's wrong and even if the writing still sucks the wrestlers are still doing there best to make it work.

so many of you guys constantly bitch over what's wrong and what could be better, and don't get me wrong because i do too. but i also find a lot of enjoyment in wrestling which is the reason i still watch every mon/thursday/ppv. most of you guys bitch so much i don't know what enjoyment you get out of it.

is one good wrestling match enough for you sit through 4 hours of stuff you're just going to complain about? why don't you guys stop watching? if i hated wrestlign or complained half as much as you guys i wouldn't even watch. i just don't get it

but to those of you who had a great time watchign wrestlemania last night well i'm right with you. sure some of it sucked, but if it wasnt' for limp biskit playing twice i wouldnt' have found any good time to smoke up.

but honestly if you need to complain that much about the same shit all the time go to the politics forum, there's plenty of that going on there.

adn i'll bash HHH as much as the next guy, and i think it's bullshit jericho lost, but that's what's so great about wrestling, you only have to wait a few days to hope for something better. but if you've already given up hope then stop watchign or stop complaining.

wwe sucks, wrestlemania sucks, all the wrestlers suck, the writing sucks and it was better back in the day. i get it.
enough already.

Your post was too long for me to read, but I'll answer your question since I'm a long-time and still-committed wrestling fan.

I watch wrestling to be amazed and shocked by high level athletic competition and creativity in booking. I like to watch wrestlers who are passionate about what they're doing.

On the other hand, I no longer like false baits and double crosses; I don't find WWE divas particularly attractive compared to porn stars or my ex girlfriends. I don't like 300+ lb galoots who can't move around the ring. I'm tired of watching wrestlers break their necks.

I haven't watched WWE regularly in months, but Japan is still hot and the northeast indies are just about ready to explode.

i have a problem with wrestling since they are pushing wrestlers who i dont think should b pushed....brock has no right to wear that belt this early in his career....its cheapens the title..i mean te greats have held that belt.. ppl who worked their ass off for the federation...not a rookie coming all the way into the main event picture...and brock isnt half as athletic as those that deserve the title....i mean benoit deserves that title....so does y2j.....i mean i wouldnt mind seeing them feud over the championship title they have put 2gether the greatest rivalry since austin- mcmahon.....most of they got rid of the IC title..honestly i think some of the greatest matches of all time are associated with that belt and they destroyed.....to me all the federation is doing is tarnishing memories.... even changing to wwe was gay...thats y i always call it the federation

Why do some of you watch wrestling?
Because soap operas are on too early in the day and I love my stories.

I have been watching wrestling since 1985, when I was 10 years old. At that time, I didn't know or care about pushes, jobbers, stiff moves, shoots, works, or anything that was considered "insider". I watched simply because it entertained me. I liked rooting for Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff, Junkyard Dog, Tito Santana, and Andre the Giant. It was an escape from my cruel reality that consisted of homework and school crushes. As I got older, I started to learn about a lot of the inner workings of the business. I was also exposed to the NWA, AWA and other regional promotions through the "Apter mags". I never wondered why Ricky Steamboat never got a title shot at Hulk Hogan or why Vince McMahon was an announcer on television. I never cared about ratings or buyrates. I watched wrestling to be entertained. And I still do. I always will. Sure, I may bitch about Triple H hogging up all of the air time on RAW. I may bitch about Rob Van Dam or Booker T or Chris Jericho being overlooked and underutilized. But I will never turn away from it. There have been a few instances where I came very close to abandoning wrestling for good, (Bret Hart screwjob. Owen Harts death) but I was never able to. It is my soap opera. I am and always be addicted to it. I am allowed to be critical of it. All of the dirtsheets, spoilers, and nay sayers will never change the fact that I love wrestling. And I always will.

HAHAHAHA, fatty I totally agree with you. As a matter of fact I started a thread like this about 8 months ago. I'm too lazy to search for it, but I am on your side nonetheless.

As much as I bitch, I still do & will likely always love it, I'm just tired of seeing the biggest company misuse the best collection of talent of all time. And the only thing worse than the misuse of talent are some of the reasons.

I watch in hopes that some night on Raw, Trips admits his entire career is a sham, dumps Steph, hands over his tainted belt, and walks away from wrestling forever.

In lieu of that, I watch Raw & Smackdown for those glimmers of greatness amongst the pile of crap, like Jericho, Benoit, Angle (damn, I'll miss that bastard), plus a few others.

Exactly.

i thought wrestlemania was the money, obviously not the greatest thing of all time but i was looking forward to a lot of the matches and i thought it came through.Miguel, maybe I was too hard on the wrestlemania itself cuz I really wasn't watching it. I was doing a baseball draft during it. I'll watch the replay tonight and see if I will change my tune.

I love wrestling and its something I've enjoyed since the early to mid '80s. I try not to hate... well sometimes ya gotta hate.

I've been watching wrestling since I was 5 years old, My parents got me into it back in the days of the NWA under Jim Crocket (before he sold out to Turner, the bastard)

After seeing Goldberg yesterday, I'm really starting to question if it's even worth it anymore....

I still enjoy WWE, not as much as a few years ago, but hey every show can't be perfect.
