Yes my friends, that's straight from the invitation to WNEW's "Launch Party", and it would be a perfect place for us to gather peacefully and show our support for Ron and Fez.
This will NOT be a party, it will be a quiet gathering starting around 7pm and lasting until 9.
This will be a major event: there will be press coverage and I'm sure that most Infinity/Viacom/CBS Brass will be attending.

I don't understand what it's gonna take to teach these dumb bastards at infinity that "BLINK 102.7" is gonna be "STINK 102.7" after all of the hoopla subsides! Hiring Jennifer Lopez's sister? How much payola did Jennifer offer? All they are doing is attempting to create another way of copycatting every other station that already exists! They want to present this monstrocity as being something newfangled!, but, after time, when the public sees that this is just another way of spinning Z-100's, WRKS, Hot97, Power 105's music, it will "CRASH AND BURN" in the Nielsen ratings, and then in 2005 or so, they will be back to the drawing board! We saw lots of q-list celebs as well as Shania Twain and Mariah Carey and got all the paparazzi to turn around by yelling "Hey, look! It's Earl!" for yes indeed, Black Earl was going to the party.

I got there late, but when I arrived it was Rich, Gvac, GaryWyze, Eastside Dave and CJacks, plus a couple of local kids who were running a very tight ship ("Why isn't your sign up??! Get it up!")

Some creepy fellow from the wire took a lot of pictures of us, pushing us aorund without actually really talking to us ("mutter mitter") and finally he asked us why we were there.

"You're protesting this radio station, right? Why?" and he pretended to scribble away on his note pad (A folded scrap of paper) but he didn't actually write anything down.
