Are reporters too entrenched? Could it be that we are being saturated with war coverage, and is this having a detrimental effect on the mood at home? It seems very Vietnam-like to have these wartime corespondents riding along with allied troops.

Of course it's too over covered. But that's how the media is. Sadly enough, one of these embedded reporters will get shot or blown up or something horrific will be shown live on tv. And once that happens....the coverage will be the opposite.

According to Bush- the war is over.
According to his generals- the war is still on.
According to the media- war? what war? that's old news.

Bush declaired the major operations over. We all know the job in Iraq isn't.

And are you surprised that the media moved on?

Laci Peterson is the hot topic now, and I'm sick to death of that. That poor woman and her son may never rest in peace.

Yeah, unfortunately there's a lot more Americans yet to be killed in Iraq before we get out of there.
