I am speechless when i hear of any US or British casualties occurring. Young soldiers, younger than me even, having their life snuffed away by an Iraqi bullet halfway around the world. I actually almost cried the other night when I heard of 19 and 20 year olds that were killed. I know the war has to go on, and I support our troops, but it breaks my heart when I hear of these losses, and then see the anti-war protestors marching on campus and in cities with absolutely no compassion in their hearts. I didn't feel this way during the 1st GULF war, probably cuz I was 12. I can't even imagine what Vietnam must have been like for those that were my age that lived through it. I know 5 people overseas right now in Iraq and just the thought of one of them not coming home sends chills up my spine.

I would REALLY love a new sig pic from some creative person out there!!!!

I love you all,
*BIG JIM*

I agree with you 100%.
These protestors have every right to do so, but they're basically saying "What your good friend had his head blown off for yesterday is bullshit..... But I support you!!!"

I know what you mean, but I guess I go with the school of "Once it starts, be quiet and support them."

I don't think protesting now will do anything except turn this into another Vietnam sort of thing.
