Did NBC buy Infinity Broadcasting?

Because the interim 102.7 sucks such ass, they play it at my gym. While there, I heard an NBC news broadcast on WNEW. Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt CBS own Infinity and Infinity own 102.7? How could an NBC news broadcast make it to WNEW? Has NBC purchased Infinity Broadcasting and 102.7? I need answers!

Nope. Its all about the deal. If you pay Westwood One for the subscription, you can re-broadcast anything.
