Well, it looks like the album Chinese Democracy will finally see the light of day, only it won't sound anything like Guns 'N' Roses.

The California punk rock band The Offspring has decided to name their new album Chinese Democracy and you can be sure that it won't take seven years to record it.

"You snooze you lose," Offspring singer Dexter Holland said in a statement. "Axl ripped off my braids, so I ripped off his album title." Holland was referring to Rose's braided hairstyle.

This is the funniest shit I've heard out of the rock world in quite some time (at least since "Gary Cherone, new VH frontman"). I'm not a huge fan of Offspring, but I might have to buy this CD just because I detest Axl.
