we all agree thats wrestling has gotten really really bad.....but it hasnt always beent thsi way...we've had great times watching wrestling..so im here to ask u...what was your favorite era in wrestling?

the age of attitude?
when hulkamania was running wild?
the new World order?

in my opinon wrestling peaked under bret hart..when the excellence of execution carried every man in the fed to great matches every single ppv. way back when there was no such thing as a bad ppv. wen bret carried that title with pride, and while taker still had his real gimmick, when hbk and hall had brawls over the IC title, when the steiner bros. were both legitimate and competant wrestlers.....if we could go back to 93-96.....i could show ppl why wrestling is/was worth watching....

I go way back to WM 4 when I started watching all the time. As a kid I loved when Hogan was running wild over every Tom, Luke, and Earthquake. But my favorite was late 99 into WM 17. The Hardy's were tearing it up with Edge and Christian (I miss them as a tag team) and the Dudleys in every gimmick match possible. Angle Benoit and Jericho were tearing it up on the midcard. HHH hadn't started his egomanial push yet. The matches were awesome and so were the storylines. Then WCW was sold and it's been down the shitter since.

I believe the glory days of wrestling occured when there was legitimate prosibilty that ECW would become one of the big three and give WWF some competition. It was so great watching an alternative to old stale WWF product. Things were never the same again.

I also agree after WCW was sold it was also done. Damn Vince McMahon and him needing to be the top dog.

for me, the attitude era was best. Austin, Foley, Rocky, Taker, the Hardyz and E & C . . . even HHH was worth watching back then. And WCW was still around. I would watch Nitro from 8-9, then Raw from 9-11.

I've got to say it's the attitude era, and when the tag team division rode high.

The hardcore legend Mick Foley, heel Rock, good matches and great promos. WWF actually had something to compete with and therefore make good shows and not take the easy way out.

Well Raw is on and its the same as usual... BORING!!!!!!!

Diesel is supposed to be on tonight. I remember back in the late 90's when I actually looked forward to watching RAW and NITRO

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

Amen! 1995-97 were the glory years of ECW, and I remained a fan up until their demise. I miss the monthly treks to South Philly, I miss the awesome feuds and matches... hell, I even miss the ever-obnoxious Hat Guy. :)

I agree with Dark Hippie. The constant switching between WCW and WWF unable to figure out which channel to stick to since both were so great (at the time). I think both went downhill around the time the Wolfpack turned on the NWO it became to boring and stupid. the WCW purchase got me to start watching again because I thought it would be cool to see a cross-over but instead it wasn't so good and they started to just showcase individual wrestlers and austin stunned 40 people in 1 minute (which there was no reason for why he'd even be able to do something like that)
