A Rod is one of the best players in the game today. Hes 27, and already has 300 career homeruns. The youngest player to do that. He hits in the .300 batting average range and drives in alot of runs.
However wth all those credentials, he is stuck on a team for the next 8 years which most likely wont be a contender. Sure, the money is great, but he had the chance to be on some contending teams for a few million less per year, but still make a very respectable and envious salary. What good is it to put up all those numbers and possibly never making it to the world series or in the Texas' Rangers sake not making it to the playoffs
Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black
