You are partnered with a person you dont know. Accumulate some money, than secretly select either "Friend" or "Foe":

these are the senerios:

You............teamate.........you get

Friend.........Foe........... None of the money
Foe.............Friend........All the money
Friend.........Friend........you split the money
Foe.............Foe.............you both get nothing

so - statistically since you DONT know your opponent no matter what is said, shouldnt you always go "FOE"?

I say yes - mathematically your chances of winning are best this way.

I'm a GameShow network freak and I watch this show all the time.

I love when someone plays it like they're going to go Friend then go Foe and you see the shock on their partner's face.

But, I don't think Foe would give you a better chance in winning. Most people would think that but then the other person goes Foe too and you both leave with nothing. The only reason behind going Friend would be you'd rather see someone else go home with money. If it were me and I wasn't getting anything...neither would they.

i really hate cram - and i also hate Lingo, because its too difficult to play. What i never understood is why, when they have so many thousands of game shows they could be showing in reruns, like Jokers Wild, Gambit, Hollywood Squares to name a few, do they show the same episode over and over ??

also Russian Roulette isnt bad either.

As for friend or foe, the math of it would make FOE the way to go because you have a 50/50 chance of winning something by either chosing Friend or Foe, but with Friend you get only half while with Foe you get the full amount.

i find women are more likely to go "friend" while men almost always try to screw the other guy..lol

Friend or Foe is an ok game concept but is unwatchable due to the Kennedy factor. I just can't stand her at all.
I think sticking with foe would be the best bet, making sure you get it all or the other person gets squat too.

Cram on the other hand is a great show. Have to watch it for the cool games they come up with and the Ms. Pickwick facts. If not for that at least watch to check out Icy..... Did we mention Icy.

Anyone else watch the old shows that they replay? Like Family Fued, Press Your Luck, and the short lived Greed?
