Now that I think about it, my last few relationships have been with younger guys. I'd say four years is the maximum age difference.

I'm 36 and my girlfriend is 26. Ten years is actually a good age difference...for the woman. Men are about 10 years behind on most levels. Not that I'm complaining, 10 years younger is great for a guy....if you can find a woman who's willing.

age doesn't matter in most cases, as long as you enjoy each other's company...
extreme age differences are a different story...
at age 19 I met a woman who was 28, actually she called me onto the dancefloor, 1st and only time that ever happened...
she was from Sao Paulo and was staying at a relatives house in Newark for the summer...
funny thing: the first night I went to the house she was staying at and i brought some wine...we sat on the couch and for a few hours she talked about how easy American girls were... I reached over and kissed her and the first thing she does is start grabbing my schwantz, and i thought i wasn't getting any...
actually she had on clothes that seemed to be sewed to her skin, after about 15 minutes we were both exhausted and we still had all our clothing on... that's the way we left it and i went to Manhattan for a hooker...
she spoke Portugese and had a strong accent, one night she goes "would you like to make love to me?" and i'm like NOOOOOOO! whatever made you think that... that was the first time I went to a hotel, she wore a white satin nightgown...
after that we almost always went to the Newark Drive-In and made it in the car... then one day i was taking her to New York and we were on the Pulaski Skyway and she asks "you always take me in the car, sex sex sex. Why do you go out with me" and I say "Sex", she got pissed and asked me to take her home...
On the way home i told her that because of our age difference there was no way we were gonna get married and that I enjoyed her company... she softened up and where did we wind up, at The Drive-In...
we eventually seperated, I went in the Navy and she went back to S America, we spoke a few times on the phone after that... had to see the look on my father's face when he got the phone bill...
So, enjoy each others company....

You never mention how old you are so its hard to say. But as a rule it depends on the people involved. My last relationship was with an older woman and the age never effected anything. If you have commen interests and enjoy each others company go with it.

First, we need to establish equivalences in age. Man years and woman years, like human years and dog years, are not the same. One year for a woman is equivalent to about 1.67 years for a man. When a woman is 30, she has peaked, in terms of attractiveness; with few exceptions, everything is downhill from there. The comparable age for a man is 50. This is why you often see an older man with a much younger woman, but almost never the reverse.
Women do also mature emotionally more quickly than men, which is fortunate, given their more fragile and short term beauty.
Don't panic, ladies. Most of you have a few good years left.

I dont see anything wrong with the age as long as the two people are mature enough to handle the relationship(which is not the case most of the time) But i think if both people are comfortable with the age difference there really is no problem at all.
Personally i have been attracted to people with a good 11 years ahead of me and totally considered pursueign a relationship. But i have also dated people my own age(18) and few years older.
All depends on the two people

LMAO at Dewey. My life was put on hiatus for a while
when I hit 32, but that was only because I had my
babies then. But my neither my life nor my
attractiveness are gone.
I have almost always dated men younger than me,
sometimes quite a bit younger than me. A year ago I
was dating a guy who was born the day before I
started college. (Before the child molestation charges
start, he was legal, I swear.) We didn't feel the age
difference at all, though we did keep wondering why
we didn't. I think it was because we both feel about 25
inside. It didn't hurt that I look at least 10 years
younger than I actually am.
I can't stand dating men my own age or older. I just
don't feel comfortable with them, feel like I have
nothing in common with them, and am very rarely
attracted to them. I guess I'm an anomaly.

i always go after the older guys and the older guys always go after me...it's weird how things work. of course some guys do find the age difference weird i dont see the real big deal (as long as it's legal). it all depends how mature someone is inside, not what some stupid number tells you about them. if youre attratcted to someone why should it matter how old they are?

My last few relationships have all been with women much younger than me (8 to 10 years). It's not intentional, it's just that when you reach your mid-30's you find that most women your own age are all married already.
None of them worked out, so I've been purposely avoiding younger women, although I'm still not sure whether the reason for the failed relationships was the age difference or my lunacy.

Just remember for purposes of defining statutory rape in NY, the penal code, places boys and girls under 17 as off limits.
My wife is just a bit older than I. Age is irrelevant if the people love and respect each other.
However, extreme age differences almost always prove to be problematic. It ha nothing to do with the maturity level of the individual. Rather, they are in different developmental stages of their lives, and marriage to someone outside your lifestage can prevent the successful resolution of the life stage crises in question. (All life stages contain a normal crises and the resolution of it is either adaptive or maladaptive).
Even more problematic, is the inequity in the relatinship. The older partner is more experienced and more likely to have the "upper hand" in marriage. Control and dependency issues tend to be problematic in marriages of vastly different ages.

Dewey years is so Earth 2...
I just turned a ripe old 29. Last year, a 42 year old
was hitting on me like a mofo'. It was totally
disturbing, to be honest, she was sort of repellant.
She tried to lure me into a three way with another guy
this one time, and she was sort of on the psycho side.
The age thing doesn't bother me too much. There was
this 40 year old mom that had her kid in my class that
same year...g' damn she was smokin'. I gave her so
many smiles and had so many conversations with her,
I think she knew I had the hornies for her.
There wasn't one time in my life when I went out with
someone younger than me.

when i was around 14 my mother had a friend who lived around the corner, she would call to talk to my Mom alot and was kind of annoying...
well anyway one day i'm outside talking to her and there is this feeling in the air and especially inside my pants... it had to be during summer vacation and it seemed like there was nobody around...
we parted ways and i went upstairs to our apt...several minutes after i got in the phone rings and this is no lie, it's her and it sounds like she is masturbating as she is telling me to come over... nothing more needed to be said and downstairs I ran. i got to her door and rang the bell, as i was waiting I noticed my friend on the corner looking at me and i got a brief moment of embarrassment but went right on in...
she took me to her bedroom and she stripped down and right in front of the big mirror and on the bed she gave me oral and i had intercourse with her...
that was the only experience i had with her...
I would have to say she was near 40 at the time...

Just some random thinking off the top of my head on this issue:
Age doesn't really bother me all that much as long as she is out of the house and I don't have to deal with the parental hassle and the immaturities and mannerisms of still being stuck in the teenage wasteland. It all depends on the person. A nice comfortable up to 6 years difference would work though. I at least have to be able to take them to the bar and have them get served legally. So I am all over the place here, I deal with the situations as they present themselves to me. So many people and so many different situations.

Listen kid, forget about the age difference, how old are you anyway?? 22? 24??, you're a man, you can handle a female in her 20s, heck even one in her 30s.
Just get to know her, see if she's down to earth, see if she's cool and fun to hang with, forget about how old she is and focus on how good she will be to you and how much you will learn from her.
Another thing... being a 28 year old female, and "talking" to or "dating" a younger guy is a great feeling, of course, only if the guy is fun, mature, not corny or spazzy.
Let us know what happened with her.

I'm 35 and I date one girl who's 18 and another who's 21...I hope I can keep this up...
It must really suck to be a 17 year old. If they can't find an older chick, they have no choice but to be a child molester...

if i was single i would want a future girlfriend to be at least 21....but for a random hookup i would go with an 18 year old. oldest would probably be 31...which is my wifes age.
i'm 26 and she's 31...we dated since i was about 18....it was really cool having to pick my girlfriend up from a bar when she was done drinking. i still look like i'm 18, so i had no chance of getting into bars back then. that's where my pot habit kicked in. driving around until she was ready to leave and then i would get some...it seemed really cool back then though.

If they're old enough to shave they're old enough for Dave.

my boyfriend is 5 years older than i am and it really doesn't make a difference.
if you have stuff in common and you can get along ok, and you're both mature enough to handle the relationship you should go for it...

I can't date a guy any younger than my age(23) because I realize that I have nothing in common with them. The oldest? Well I've never been with anyone that was more than 5 years older but I don't think that makes a difference. I guess it has to be younger than 30 but then again who knows?
