Fez's birthday show - disappointing

Is it just me, or was the Fez birthday show from last
week one of the most disappointing shows they've
done since they left NY? I'm sure it was fun for the
people who came to the studio and called in, but it
really made for terrible radio.

I would agree with you , but did you hear that show on friday with Mikey D's kid, now that was just the worst, don't get me wrong , I love Mikey D, but his kid , doesnt belong on the air . She is a little parrot and I all I could do is keeping thinking her mom is in the backround giving her lines with her daddy's help, but if not, maybe they need to start, Nice kid , but doesnt need to be on the air, awful worst show , i really never like the birthday shows anyhow.. it's like hey people who call in every night are callign on your birthday , okay am I wrong, anyone else agree, not looking to piss the good people off on this board, we are all fans and need to stick together, but friday show, worst show ever

I agree that it wasn't the best show, but I don't think it was meant to be. Ron and Fez always slack a little bit on Mondays with that same bit OVER AND OVER again, and the show is only 3 hours long.

Billy's segments that he got for his birthday were better, lowgrade porn and dial tones.

I for one enjoyed Lenay on the show friday, because it let the listeners release from all the talk about war, and just remeber what it was like to be a carefree kid. And plus, the birthday wishes, wow Billy knows how to kill a happy mood in a instant, then his little party, even better.

While i agree that the singing and poo jokes got a bit annoying, it was just fun to listen to. Then when Billy was all Uber-depressed and Lenay just sang "Hey Billy! Your So Silly!...." it was gold.

Plus imagine, in 10 years when she's 16 and Mikey plays the show for her, and she hears herself at 6, how embarrassed shell be, i mean seriously, could you imagining hearing yourself tell harry potter jokes on a market 8 radio show?

I liked the Ron & Lenay show. At least for the beginning. It dragged on a little in the middle, but, what kid doesn't? :)

What was great is to see a 6 year old do the announcing of the show better than Billy. Even if Mom was feeding her lines, her timing was pretty good.

And, all of the birthday wishes were sour. Come on.... 'have a great life' ???? Wow. Get a grip people. All a kid needs to hear is "Happy Birthday" and "Hope your birthday is special this year". Of course, that's what we have Billy and them for.... "Enjoy your life now, while you can, before you become a drunk..." :D That's Gold, Jerry, Gold.

As for being bad shows.... I'd say that most of February was bad, with the transition to DC. They were off, rightly so. Not many Comedy Pyramids, or good callers. The callers all seemed to think they were calling into a serious talk show. No fun. Thankfully, things came back in march, and all wheels seem to be spinning well now.

Love those pyramids.....

I enjoyed both shows immensely.

Lenay is an extraordinarily precocious and bright child and is a "natural" on the radio.

I was disappointed in Fez's birthday show, only b/c I couldn't be there to wish him the best in person.
