1)Joey Styles would be perfect.
2)Tony Schiavone is dying for a job.
3)Paul Heyman. WHo would actually describe the match going on at all with Lawler
4)The coach-He sucks. Stay as Rock's whipping boy.

I believe that JR Quitting is part of a storyline. JR also serves as Senior VP of talent relations in the WWE which includes the scouting of future WWE wrestlers

I think the point of the thread was basically, are we going to see him back at the announcer position, not if he really walked out on the company. That would be too much of a blessing.

Never happen, unfortunately. And I do believe this is one of the few times you can say "never" in terms of the WWE. He won't work anything more than one of the repeat shows where he can tape his parts in a studio one day a week & still be free to continue his lucrative career.

2)Tony Schiavone is dying for a job.
BITE YOUR FUCKING TONGUE! When Hogan won the strap I swore I would never watch WWE TV again till he was gone from the WWE & that attrocity had no chance of ever happening again (I didn't come back till I heard about Brock damn near killing him in the ring). This move just might make me stop watching wrestling forever. As awful as JR has been in the last year+, just the memory of Schiavone ineptitude is more painful.

Might not be bad, but they would have to explain him off SmackDown as three of his "clients" are still on the roster. (OK, who am I kidding, they don't feel the need to explain things to us half the time...but I still think this is unlikely)

Unfortunately, short of bringing in someone unforeseen, he would be my guess.

Well, supposedly Heyman himself asked to be removed from WWe TV while he works on his weight loss. At the earliest, he's expected to be back by Summer Slam.

Too bad almost every other option (except the hugely unlikely hiring of STyles) is the absolute shits.

He works in advertising. I don't know much more than that (what company, what position), but it wasn't worth giving up to work for WWE when he was offered a job in 2001 after ECW went under.

Becides, Ross asked for time off Raw because he's tired of carrying the company on his back as far as talent relations go. Remember, eh was in charge os ALL talent (raw and Smackdown)....maybe it's a good thing, he'll probably help get rid of the bulshit politics backstage. I think he put Fit Finlay and a couple other people in charge of some of the talent issues (something that was a sign Ross was really burnt out)
