I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS SHIT!!!!!! ESPN is blacking out Game 1 of the Islander-Ottawa game tonight. So it will only be shown on Metro. Guess what? PEOPLE WITH DISHES DON'T GET METRO!!!!!! Guess I'm resorted to hearing the radio tonight. It's a friggin' conspiracy!!!!!!!!

what the fuck??? i can't believe the game is on Metro. why not Fox Sports or MSG even? i won't get to see the game either then. taht sucks.

I hate both the Devils & the Islanders...but, Christ, this is playoff hockey & there's nothing like it! Why does hockey always get the shaft when it come to TV?

I feel quite foolish now. I didn't even think that ESPN Alternates might hopefully carry the game. All of my anger and Yoda references might have been for nothing.

it gets the shaft because it is #4 of the 4 major sports in america (and if you included college basketball and football it would be #6), the tv contracts for the major sports pay more then hockey thats the bottom line to this. But is the game in ottowa or NY because it would be blacked out locally in NY if the islanders dont sell the games out

Get directv. Last night they had the Leafs/Flyers, Isles/Senators, and the Bruins/Devils on. But i was watching my sox get there asses kicked and the Celtics beating the Bullets. SUCKS TO BE YOU!
