I'm not one to protest.

Hell, more often than not I make fun of protesters.

But here's a protest I can get solidly behind:

About time.

Enjoy yourself.

Ps...You obviously realize if anyone says anything negative or against this march...they're anti-semitic.

Um . . . Israel is a country. Not liking a country's policies does not make you biased against its people.

It was a joke Hippe.

I was implying that many Jews feel if you are against Israel in anyway, it's cause you are anti-semitic or it makes you anti-semitic.

The Times and the BBC have always had the most anti-Semetic coverage of all newspapers short of the arab press.

And Jews and Israel are identical in the eyes of the overwhelming majority of the world.

The arab/muslim rallying cry isn't just destroy Israel, it's death to the Jews (and Christians).

Oh, snap!!! Oh, snap!!! Girlfriend got it goin' ON!!!

Actually, I'd have no problem signing up if I could read something on the site BESIDES the message board without signing up. A lot of the EDITORIALS and op-ed pieces in the Times have bordered close to something REALLY ugly when it comes to Israel, but I really haven't seen anything in the actual news sections to go along with the editorials. It's basically the same problems I have with editorializing in papers like the New York Post or Washington Times. Basically I've to find a print news outlet that doesn't skew and editorialize one way or the other, period, so I just don't read the papers anymore, unless I want a fine, fine laugh.

BBC "papers"? Anti-semitism? Alright then...

Let me ask this, HK...is it EVER possible to speak out in opposition to Israel's policies or disagree with the Israeli government over ANYTHING? Anti-semitism is very real and I see it far too often, but you've really never allowed ANY criticism of Israel to pass without decrying it as "anti-semitism."

I made a joke referring to this exact thought. Obviously some people in the world no matter what area they come from are anti-semitic. But not everything directly relates back to that thought. You can be for a duel state plan or have disregard for an Israeli policy or action without being anti-semitic.

The New York Times is the definition of media bias.

Any more than, say, the Washington Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal or New York Post?

My personal opinion is that the NY Times editorial page influences their news sections overall.

But that's my personal opinion, mind you.

It's basically the same problems I have with editorializing in papers like the New York Post or Washington Times. Basically I've to find a print news outlet that doesn't skew and editorialize one way or the other, period, so I just don't read the papers anymore, unless I want a fine, fine laugh.

This isn't so much addressed to you as it is all folks who may be of the "left" (better not label, or elves might yell at me.....)

Is it even possible to consider that maybe papers like the NY Times and the Washington Post are just as skewed and slanted as the conservative papers that always get trotted out?

That's what I was trying to say...as bad as television news can get, prints news in at least the last 20 years has always seemed heavily skewed to the politics of the writers/publishers, regardless of the paper...
