Anyone played it yet? Any good? AKI had the best fucking wrestling engine (THQ needs to get their heads checked for not using it for Wrestlemania 18 and 19)

Haven't played it yet. But my question would be, anyone else think this is the most awful idea for a video game in history? Hip-hop artists fighting/wrestling...are you kidding me?

its just like any other wrestling game but you can get different valets (women) and upgraded stuff for your character
the moves are given an edgy "urban" name to some moves like the bow and arrow called the Brooklyn bender or some such
but the finishing moves are pretty good for most of the guys and you have to go to the story mode to unlock the other guys

dont think of it as a rap wrestling game think of it as a wrestling game with rap/hip-hop overtones

yeah you got that shit right. no mercy for 64 is the last great wrestling game, the greatest of all time. i almost cried playing the gamecube version, i kinda figured they would blow it and they totally did.

that was the only good wrestling game ever and they blew it, i pray every night they'll go back to the old way of fighting.

but this game looks pretty money, i'll have to check this one out.

i played it and for what i played i give it 2 and a half stars out of four.the game is like gta meets rapstars wretling to be the top dog

I want it just for the sheer novelty of it. I COMPLETELY expect it to not break any new ground as far as fighting games but I'd love to be able to fuck somebody up as DMX.

DJV is a good game. MY biggest complaint is how the later guys can counter anything I throw at them, but wear them down and you can win.

No weapons, no specialty matches. Maybe we can find these things in next month's MUSCLE game, using the same engine.

i saw the commercials and things on the web for it and laughed and said it has to be the most stupid thing i've ever seen. but i know a ton of people that got it and said it is so god damn fun... especially when you make drinkin games out of it and have multiple people playin with you and shit
