Are we talking comic book or TV series? I have always believed that Superman had a "thing" with Perry White and Inspector Henderson on the TV series. Whenever Perry said "great Ceasar's ghost"..well that was gay slang back in the 50's. By the way, I always found myself attracted to Noel Neill, not Phyllis Coates, who both played Lois Lane.

Onto the question at hand, yes I believe Clarky was a virgin or at the very least inexeperienced.
