RonFez.net hates Macs

I usually post from a PC, but out of necessity, I
sometimes have to post from somebody else's Mac.
With that, there are a whole host of problems.

1. I can't send RF mail
2. I can't reply to certain threads
3. The lines in my posts are much shorter than those of
the PC folks.
4. If i edit a post, my sig gets all screwed up, because
Mac adds line breaks.

I hate using this machine, but like I said, it's out of
necessity. Does anyone know how to get around
these problems?

No idea about the new browsers on OS X.

No kidding, mikeyboy. I am a Mac-Evangelist (no, I'm
not trying to start that old holy war), but it is
aggravating the things I can't to here.

You forgot to add to your list that we can't post pics
either. I have to go use the rotten windoze box
downstairs to do that.

And everytime I change my sigpic, I have to do that
from the PC downstairs, too. Pain in the ass.

I will try the netscape thing, tho, to see if that makes
difference. Damn browser loads so slow, tho....

Correction: RonFez.Net hates Internet Explorer for Macs.

I have a Mac and I use an alternative browser called Camino which can be found at mozilla.org. It has NO problems with any of RonFez.Net's functions. Mac users can also choose to use Netscape, but I prefer not to because it's cumbersome and slow. You can also go with Apple's 1st party broswer Safari, which I personally don't like much, but some people love it.

That's the same line break problem, though. Cause your URL gets a line break shoved in the middle, so it gets all screwy.

I am a Mac user and a HUGE fan of the Safari browser, its a great looking, sleek interface (you can download it for free at apple.com) and its WAY WAY faster than netscape (which i used to use).

Internet explorer and macs can not play nicely together no matter what...but with Safari all rf.nets functions work and work well! Hope it helps!

Add me to the list of Mac users who browse this site with Netscape 7.0. It works great with RonFez.Net, and there's no problems whatsoever with the mail or posting pictures.

I use Safari too.
It is faster than IE (and has no problems) and far, far. far faster than Netscape.

You'll need OS X, but you should have that anyway :)
