Just caught the new Smackdown Piper's Pit and it was a great start. Piper is just so engaging, not unlike Hogan and Flair, and can only be an asset, so long as he takes a Flair role and sticks to managing and doing the pit. Great back and forth with Vince, and he seems to be one of the few people left who can legitimately push Vince's buttons in the ring. I'd definately look forward to Piper vs. Hogan as Wrestlemania 20 at MSG. And to top it off, he busted a coconut over Rikishi's fat Polyensian head. Great stuff! Maybe this will get me watching Crapdown again. Raw is a totally lost cause. Hod Rod's gotta get in shape, and he doesn't exactly move smoothly, but it was great to see him go to one knee and give Snuka's salute after the coconut. I guess we'd might see Piper/Ohaire vs. Rikishi/Snuka at Summerslam, which would definately blow, but otherwise, good stuff.

Not nearly as rambling as I'd feared... but then again, this is an edited show.

And all hail the mighty coconut!

Hot Rod was Great! That was the best thing I've seen on Smackdown since the nWo crippled Rock.

Had Piper not already disgraced himself on TNA, I might have been a little more excited to see and hear him on Smackdown. He has clearly lost his mind. He continues to prove that time and time again. On TNA, on Ron & Fez, on all of his radio appearances, wherever he appears. Plus him even working for McMahon is a very hypocritical move. He will always be one of my all time favorites, but he has clearly lost his mind.

I was starting to love O'Haire's manipulative character, and now they better not have teamed him with Piper because his name sounds Scotish. I loved the fact that Cole tried to save Tazz from calling Piper Irish, and then Tazz screwing it up again.

Seeing Sean O'Haire in wrestling tights kind of kills the whole gimmick they were going with. When he actually wrestles, he should have kept on his all black suit, not wrestling over 5 minutes and not once messing up his suit.

Damn I missed Piper's Pit.

Gotta love the coconuts.

So it looks like Rikishi w/Snuka vs. O'Haire w/Piper at Backlash, anyone?

Oh jezuz christ no. There goes O'Haire and his pretty awesome gimmick. Anything to bring back yet another has been to try and boost ratings.
