John Cena has alot of potential, but they need to drop the whole rap gimmick
The WWE has got to either shit or get off the pot when it comes to Cena. The guy's talented in the ring, still a little green, but he's good enough; he can talk well; he's got a gimmick which, despite its absurdity, has actually gotten him over; and above all else, he's got a good look (a sort of young Steve Borden vibe going on). He's got everything needed to make it big in the WWE - IF they will let him.
He's on the brink right now. It would be ridiculously easy to put him over now - all they really need to do is let him make it to Backlash, and have him have a good match with Lesnar.
Last Thursday's match against Undertaker was a fucking EMBARASSMENT. It represents everything I HATE about Taker. What did it take to have Taker job? Multiple illegal weapons, and multiple interference in the form of the F.B.I., and what happened after the match? Taker no-sold Cena's offense and immediately got up after the pinfall to fight his enemies. He should be ASHAMED of himself. He's one of these old bastards who always claims that he's there to help the younger talent. How about this, Taker? Fucking count the lights for once, without it taking an army to do so. The WWE had a tremendous opportunity to book Cena over strong last Thursday, and they failed miserable. But what else is new?
