I saw this film last night and it was an amazing film. Its not like those horror films these days where a killer goes after Teeny boppers. Its more of like a Texas Chainsaw massacre film in the sense of how it was filmed and presented. Honestly, this film makes up for the last 20 horror films i've seen along with The Sinister Urge by Rob Zombie.

The film is about a legend known as Dr. Satan. I'm not going to give much away, however. The opening sequence is very weird, it makes you think that this film revolves around one place, when it does not.

There is once scene where one character holds a gun to this guys head, its in super slow-mo and takes about 2 mins before he pulls the trigger. A phenominal film though. A must see for any horror fan, or b-movie fan.

Saw it yesterday. The most senselessly gruesome movie I've ever seen. If you're into that shit, enjoy. I, for one, wasn't particularly interested in seeing Rob Zombie's wet dream come to life.

Amen. I don't particularly like horror movies to begin with, but I escpecially don't like when the killer never feels any justice. At least in Dawn of the Dead they kill a ton of zombies and in Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street they kill the villain (even if the ending hints that they are alive). I was pretty disturbed by the way they dragged out the scene where they execute the cop. What's worse is that at no point do they suffer even the slightest.

It's a tribute to the (sorry SKW) "grindhouse" and horror movie genre, and not for everyone - either you love it or hate it kind of film. I'd only suggest it to people who think Herschell Gordon Lewis is the funniest director and can sing the theme song to "2000 Maniacs." I wouldn't be surprised if Bobo liked it.

But maybe I'm just partial because it had a horror host in it, and I got drunk with Sid Haig this summer.
