"Culture Clash" movies need to fucking DIE.

This is not a new trend, but it is one that seems to have picked up in the last few weeks.

Chris Rock has some stupid movie where he runs for president. That's OK, but I see in the commercial he gets this ballroom full of "Crackas" to do stupid shit as a joke. Swell.

Then I see another movie where some white kid is trying to be some sort of criminal rapper, dropping all these Ebonix phrases and acting like a general retard. Fabulous.

And to top it all off, last month or so STEVE MARTIN, a man I used to respect does some shitty looking movie where Queen Latifa shows up and Steve somehow ends up acting and talking like some sort of Gangsta Rapper.

When will we finally stand up and ignore retarded movies? I find this type of comedy boring and cheap. Make whitey act stupid is pretty much the name of the game in these situations and it was old before it began.

I laughed at this when I saw reruns of Saturday Night Live doing it back in the 70's. Better yet, I laughed at it the 1st time I remember seeing the white cop in "Sanford and Son" messing up slang phrases as he left the scene. "The Jeffersons" comes to mind. But now it is tired and blows goats. It's not edgy anymore, and not being done NEARLY as well. More like a comedy crutch writers fall back on when they're plum out of ideas.

Any movie that uses this dull and over used comedy is shitty and not funny at all. If you're a movie writer and the best you can come up with is a white rapper going into the 'hood then you need to put a gun in your mouth.

What the hell is so funny about a white guy talking like a gangster? Nothing.

Just for the record, Blacks acting white isn't that funny either.

Eddie Murphy did it great in the 80's but it's old now too.

Dave Chapelle needs to stop doing both of these too.

remember when C Thomas Howell was playing a black guy and he went to put up a layup and it hit the bottom of the rim and came down and hit him in the head...

then he was dreaming that he was having dinner at his girlfriends house and her whole family was sitting at the dinner terminal, he got up on the table and said something like "get me my hyperdermic needle"...

that was pretty funny...

Can we just officially declare the "white people and black people are sure different" style of comedy dead and just get over it? Chappelle USUALLY has a funny show on Comedy Central, but that "Trading Spaces" parody was AWFUL.

It's okay, we know. "Blacks" are hip and stylish and cool. "Whites" are unhip, can't dance, have no taste in music and spend inordinate amounts of time shopping for Ikea furniture. WE GET IT. MOVE ON.

and now we have to be subjected to this Jamie Kennedy movie. I guess it's supposed to be a spoof of 8 Mile. If we are going to get rid of this genre of recycled crap ,I move that we do away with the buddy cop action flick, Bad Boys,Rush Hour, etc. It always start off with odd couple quality to the movie where they don't want to work with each other in the beginning but realize they make a good team in the middle.
