This is nothing new. I believe both Antonio Inoki and Hiroshi Hase have both held some sort of political office before.

Although I personally question whether Inoki got his seat due to his Yak ties.

I believe both Antonio Inoki and Hiroshi Hase have both held some sort of political office before At least Hase used to be a school teacher so there's some kind of redemptive quality there. Inoki...ah he fought Ali. What's wrong with giving him something to keep him busy?
